Bro. Tespul said yes to the call of God and has dedicated his life to the service of God and His people by making his first Profession on 23rd April 2022 at St. Gabriel’s House, Sitagarha Novitiate, Jharkhand. It is a matter of great joy for the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel, Province of North East India, the Diocese of Nongstoin, in Meghalaya and the parents of Bro. Tespul.
Bro. Tespul is the first Religious Brother of his hometown Laitlawsmai, St. John’s Parish and the Diocese of Nongstoin in Meghalaya.
He joined the Juniorate at Montfort Chabua, in the year 2017, completed his schooling at Montfort Centre of Education, Tura, and joined Aruludhayam for his pre-novitiate in the year 2019. Later he completed his Novitiate at Sitagarha, Jharkhand and is now serving at Montfort Hr. Sec. School, Champaknagar, as a Brother.
On the 15th of May 2022, the Catholic community of Laitlawsmai village felicitated Bro. Tespul in the presence of the Sisters of Holy Cross, Village Headman, Leaders of St. John’s Church and more than a hundred villagers. We hope and pray that many more young men of Laitlawsmai and other villages in the North east, will be encouraged to follow the footsteps of Montfort by joining the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel to serve the needy in the Northeast India.
We pray that Bro. Tespul will have a fruitful mission experience as a member of the Province of Northeast India in the Congregation of the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel.
